About the Company Name

Ironwood Behavioral Health, LLC was named for the Desert Ironwood tree which is native to Arizona and found throughout the Sonoran Desert.  The Desert Ironwood tree is considered a keystone species.  In addition to thriving in the harsh, dry conditions of Arizona, it also alters the environment around it.  It enriches the soil and provides shade for other plants to grow and develop.  It provides shelter and food for many species of birds and other wildlife.  It is a tree that endures, with some trees living over 800 years.  It is my hope that you find Ironwood Behavioral Health to be a place where you can find shelter from life's sometimes harsh conditions as well as the psychological enrichment to grow and thrive.
